UNDERGROUND 51

UNDERGROUND 51 - The Only Real Underground, was up until 2008 one of the world's most secret underground computer security and hacking information systems known to man.

UNDERGROUND 51 was originally founded in 1991, by a hacker computer enthusiast now known as Ernest "TheGhost" Buffington. The name of the site came from a government facility now known as Area 51 - "Top Secret". The network formerly known as The Lunatic Poet Society (TLPS) branched off into many secret organziations and many of them were organized and run by none other than Ernest "TheGhost" Buffington. The Scorpion Network was run on a 1200 baud modem and was run on a custom written version of BBS software written by Ernest "TheGhost" Buffington that would later be known as WWIV. In 1993 The Scorpion Network was moved to the internet and has been moved from one domain to another all the way up until 2008. The network domains used from 1993 up until now are as follows.

There are many hacking websites and organizations that have formed over the years, most of which were members of The Scorpion Network who decided to go there own way or just thought it would be cool to have their own little piece of the web with their own brand.

The truth of the matter is that there is a lot of information that our government does not want the public to know and many of the Senior members of The Scorpion Network have made it their life long duty to provide this secret information to our VIP members. We have been doing this since 1991 and will continue to do this no matter what happens in the future. We will do what we have always done. In the event that our security is compromised we will pack up and move to a new domain and change our name once again. We have done this many times in the past, and I suspect we will do the same in the future. A lot of our Top Secret information is stored in off shore racks and our VIP members have FTP access to this information and will continue to have access while network security remains in tact. We have shut down access many times in the past and will do so again in the future. If we suspect that one of our members has become a risk the entire access system to UNDERGROUND 51 will be shut down.

The encryption system used with our off shore data storage system is written by Ernest "TheGhost" Buffington and is updated twice a year, June 16th and December 25th. You must be a member of The Scorpion Network for at least 5 years and give specific written request information to gain access to our off shore racks. You must also have 1 referral for each year you have been a member. Each referral that you submit must also come from members who have already gained access to our off shore racks. Please understand that we always do a nationwide job history and criminal check on anyone and everyone who applies for rack access. In the event that you have been employed by our government and are a member of the land forces including commissioned or non-commissioned officers we will have someone meet with you in person. Your job history directly reflects your ability to become a VIP member of The Scorpion Network.
